If your vehicle was totaled while insured by Progressive, you may be entitled to a cash payment for underpayment of the actual cash value of your vehicle.

A settlement has been reached in the lawsuit Lauren Reynolds, et al. v. Progressive Direct Ins. Co. et al., Case No. 5:22-CV-00503-LCB (the “Class Action”), which is pending in the Northern District of Alabama, Northwestern Division (the “Court”), against Progressive in Alabama for paying their insureds less than the actual cash value of their total loss vehicles. Total payments available are approximately $30,750,000.

Members of the Settlement Classes who submit valid and timely Claim Forms are eligible for payment of 100% of the Projected Sold Adjustment (“PSA”) Impact Amount for covered total loss claims.

Submit a Claim Form The only way to get a Settlement Payment is to submit a timely and valid Claim Form. Submitted or postmarked by October 15, 2025
Exclude Yourself If you exclude yourself, you will not get a Settlement Payment, but you will keep your right to file your own lawsuit against the Released Parties about the Released Claims in the Settlement. Postmarked by:

Do Nothing If you do nothing, you will get no Settlement Payment. You will also give up your legal rights.

The Court must decide whether to approve the Settlement, attorneys’ fees and expenses, and Service Awards. No Settlement benefits will be provided unless the Court approves the Settlement.
